Cute new Latino guy

There is a new guy in my life. I met him strangely enough chatting on the internet. I am normally pretty sceptical about chatters on the internet. But this guy said namaste and introduced himself. I thought to myself that it must be one of those people who know a couple Indian words and want to practice them to any Indian available. But I realized that he lived really close to my house and started really talking to him. He seemed really into Indian culture and I mean really into it and guess what’s the kicker? He is Latino. The bells just went off in my head like crazy. I like Latinos, he likes Indians. Isn’t that just perfect. But there are other things that are not so perfect but let’s not dwell on those for now but simply savour this blissful thought for now. I’ll bring you guys up to speed on the downsides some other time.

Anyways, he is a really sweet guy and not the gangster type and looks like a very pretty boy. He is not the freaky ashram going cultish guy but instead is interested in Hinduism in a much more mature general sense. He seemed like a guy who I could really like. So we’ve been out twice and talk on the phone every day now. We are going out again on Saturday. We have been pretty physical. I think it was three seconds after we finished watching the movie that we were making out.

Let’s call this guy, Latino guy for now. We’ll baptise him with some other name when we know more about him. But seriously, we guy who tells me that he prefers dosa over idly is like the absolutely perfect guy irrespective of who or what his other preferences are. He calls Hyderabad as “Hyd” and he says SMS instead of text message. Something about the movie Julie and he asked if I was talking about the new one or the old one.

Turkish guy and I are going to be running a 5 mile race together. I have registered for the 40 minute estimated time and he registered for 50 minutes but then we found out that they are organising it by waves. I am hoping to run with him in spite of them organising it by waves where the fastest runners start before the others and so on. I am really excited about this race since last year it had been so much fun with people standing on both sides and cheering us on. It was cool. I finished in 39 minutes.

The days are growing increasing gorgeous as spring seem to be moving in. There are tulips appearing around town. Tulips if I haven’t told you guys yet are my favourite thing about this city. It gives the whole place such a European feel. Anyways, tiny bring yellowish green leaves on brown trees are a welcome sight anyday.

The Stock markets been good to everyone this week.

Mood: I want to spend my days lazing around in the sun but have a lot of money when I retire.
